Overview

Our goal is to fundraise money, buy school supplies desired by school districts, and donate them to underprivileged students and school districts in DFW. 

Power Vidya, translating literally from Hindi to Power (of) Knowledge, was built on the fundamental correlation between low income level and low education level. We believe that access to quality learning materials should not be a privilege and strive to empower students with the tools they need to succeed. 

Through our organization, we seek to minimize the socioeconomic effects of low income on education levels by providing school supplies to underprivileged and underfunded school districts in our community.
